I must admit that the solar customer service is one of the best, and they deserve a five-star rating. However, I am slightly disappointed with the misleading information provided online regarding replacement parts.
I was frustrated with the malfunctioning of my fingerprint controller on my scooter. I was searching for an equivalent part that had a key starter. The online description indicated that it was a replacement for Solar P1 3.0 which I own, and other models. However, it failed to mention that it was incompatible with the scooter originally fitted with fingerprint controller.
I had already ordered the part and a few days later I received an email stating that it was incompatible with the fingerprint reader display. If that information had been clearly displayed on the website, I would never have ordered it. Unfortunately, due to this misleading information, my order was delayed for about two weeks because I live in Pennsylvania and had to return the incorrect part to California, pretty long distance.
The solar customer service handled this situation very well and agreed to cross-ship the correct part for my scooter.
Despite this setback, I am rating Solar Company with a five-star. I hope that the website description will be corrected to avoid similar scenario for other customers.
I want to express my gratitude to the solar customer service for their excellent communication and handling of this problem to my satisfaction.
